A great community event happening Sunday, September 24h, 2023 – the 13th Annual Paddy’s 5K Cambridge Classic and Block Party.
The event benefits the Cambridge Girls Softball League and other girls’ sports.
Registration for the race begins at 8:30am and the race kicks off promptly at 10:00am. Following the race, there will be an awards celebration and a block party until 6:00pm. Walden Street will be closed from Garden Street to Sherman Street to accommodate the race and block party. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please plan on attending. There will be a DJ, food trucks, a beer garden, and more. It’s always a good time!
The race starts and ends on Walden Street at 10am, between Sherman and Garden Streets. Again, this section of Walden Street is closed all day. The 5K is a rolling race. As runners and walkers go by, the police and volunteers will keep the roads clear, for race participants’ safety.
The race will start at 10am and will impact the following streets. Runners will take from 20 minutes to about an hour to complete the course. The bulk of the runners and walkers will be done and back on Walden Street by 11:00am.
The following is a description of the race course. Included in this mailing is a map (below) of the course:
