The neighborhood had another peaceful "Stand Out" at Porter Square to register our outrage over the killing of George Floyd by police officers.  The outrage, of course, has spread to protest the structural racism in many other parts of our society.

Many of our protestors moved on at noon to a My Brother's Keeper voter registration event at Cambridge Common. A great idea!

And there are "stand outs" every night (at 6:30pm), in the median of Mass Ave/Linnaean St, and way down toward the Common.

So, plenty of places and ways to speak up for the things we believe in, as a mixed, welcoming neighborhood!
