Clean Up Porter Square and Mass Ave - Rescheduled to Sept 19th, 9:30 - noon!

PSNA needs your help to go into Fall with a better looking Porter Square and Mass Ave!

We are postponing for tomorrow (thank you

Ida) to go with the Rain Date of Saturday Sept 18th - 9:30-noon.

We are lucky to have the willing labor of 26 young athletes from Lesley. We may have some Harvard students as well.

Meet up with us at the little park between our PINK "Gift of the Wind" and Commonwealth Lock at 9:30 am (we will go till noon).  We will have implements and supplies (the City, the MBTA and Gravestar are helping us), but if you have your own gloves, brooms, dustbins, etc. please bring them.

We need lots of us from PSNA, Baldwin (x-Agassiz), North Cambridge, Neighborhood 9, St. James, and the surrounding neighborhoods to work with the students to pull up the incredible weeds in tree wells (and even in sidewalk cracks) and generally "clean up" our sidewalks and other public areas.

Come if you can, bring your neighbors, your kids. Please spread the word to help us make this happen!

If you cannot bend so well anymore, not to worry, we need organizers and supervisors as well.

We also need a photographer to document our efforts and results. We will even give you a "Press Pass"!
