Having had no meeting in February, due to the COVID shutdown, including the shutdown of Lesley University Hall, we decided to check in virtually for our May meeting.
We held our first Zoom meeting on May 21st, simply to catch up. For nearly two hours we caught up on everyone's wellbeing in the neighborhood (either with us virtually) or by word of mouth.
We had a lengthy discussion spurred by a new participant, an essential worker (grocery store), worried that her employer was not doing enough to protect her and the other workers. We discussed our own protective measures and how comfortable we were (and how difficult it was) shopping, etc.
Finally, we looked ahead to how PSNA could navigate this new territory, the things we needed now and the things we wanted to find out about as Cambridge planned to open back up.
I thik it might not be too much to say a good time was had by all!
