Cambridge Police Review & Advisory Board Vacancy

City Manager Louis DePasquale is seeking Cambridge residents interested in serving on the Police Review & Advisory Board. Made up of volunteer members who serve five-year terms, the Board generally meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.  

The Police Review & Advisory Board is responsible for civilian oversight of the Cambridge Police Department and was established by City Ordinance in 1984 to:

  • Continuing Concerns re the change in direction at Davenport Street
  • Accommodating open discussions during meetings

Parish house to open in spring (hopefully). To comply with state and City COVID regulations, they hope to host a series of small tours for neighbors when they have the CO.

We will start the meeting by hearing from Matt Stewart, priest, and others, from St. James Episcopal Church about their work around food insecurity, homelessness, etc. and how these will be affected as the construction of their new community center is completed.
