PSNA Social Event, August 18: RSVP required

Friday, August 12, 2022 - 7:00pm

We are doing something radically different for our August meeting: Gathering outside with a beverage and some snacks to talk about whatever seems interesting with whoever we're standing next to. That is, an actual social event!

We will host this event on Thursday, August 18 from 7 to whenever. We can't tell you where it will be yet because we need to know how many would like to attend so that we choose the backyard that can best accommodate the crowd.

June 2022

Thursday, June 16, 2022 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

PSNA meeting June 16, 2022

Agenda was to get a sense of what was on people’s minds

We began with lots of introductions of folks on the call, which we haven’t done in a while.

Most topics raised in the meeting were discussed (or bemoaned) briefly, but two of them got some traction:

  • Proposals for charter reform and the history of how the need for it became more urgent
  • Redesign of bus network currently underway with MBTA for its 5-year plan.

Brief topics

April 2022

Thursday, April 21, 2022 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Meeting Minutes for April 21, 2022

Agenda

Kathy Dalton, Manager of the Living Well Network, led a discussion about the resources that Porter Square has and needs to meet the needs of all who live in the area.

Kathy is looking to expand the discussion of issues lumped under “aging in place” to a larger view of “living in community to identify what we need in and from our community to make it livable for those who live here now and those who will live here in the future.

March 2022

Thursday, March 17, 2022 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Meeting Minutes for March 17, 2022

Agenda

Share responses to the TP&T presentation on March 15 about plans for bike lanes in Porter Square and review the work done by the MassAveForAll group to develop an approach that accommodates all users safely and more adequately than plans served up from the City so far.
