Postponed: PSNA March 19th meeting!

Friends and Neighbors,

PSNA is postponing the March 19th meeting over concern for the spread of the coronavirus.

We are going to reschedule our look at bicycle safety and potential plans for a dedicated bike and/or bus lane along Mass Ave and through Porter Square as soon as we can.

For background visit:

We will also continue our efforts to understand Traffic, Planning and Transportation’s plans for Cogswell and Davenport. The Cogswell meeting  scheduled for March 12 was cancelled.  Please check cambridgema.gov   for the status of any city meetings.

For the April 16 meeting we have scheduled a revisit of the issue of vacant storefronts and have invited both Pardis Saffari of CDD’s Economic Development Department, and Theodora Skeadas, Executive Director, of Cambridge Local First to address the issues and efforts to assist our small local retail shops/restaurants. We will be monitoring the healthcare crisis that is upon us closer to the date of that meeting to see if we can safely convene.

In the meantime, please check on any of your neighbors whom you believe may be potentially at risk due to age or underlying health conditions. Offer to drop off food or medicine or other things from our local stores.

Stay tuned and stay online.  Let’s continue to discuss this pandemic and all of the other issues before our community today online.

Thanks,

Ruth
