Your Food Choice Matters!
The food we purchase and eat has a profound impact on the planet, our families, our health and our community. Sustainable change is a direct outcome of the food choices we make every day.
Join PSNA and Greg Georgaklis for a lively discussion and find clarity on what you want for yourself and our shared planet as we start this new year.
Greg Georgaklis, founder of Farmers To You has been involved in agriculture for over 30 years, as a farmer, business owner and advisor. He is regarded as an expert in many areas of farm production and sustainability.
Farmers To You is a year-round online farmers market that provides access to food from over 90 New England farms and food producers. They have 25 pickup sites in the Boston area, including one in Porter Square, plus home delivery. However, our discussion will be more philosophical, focusing on how our choice of organic food, grown sustainably and locally, can enrich (and possibly save) us all.
This event is free and open to the public.
And yes, we will have a little of this marvelous food to sample.
